DNA Testing Can Predict Whether You Can Live More Than 100 Years Old

A study from Boston University and Italy has successfully identified longevity genes based on a large group of 1,055 senior citizens – who attain the age of 100 years old and above. It’s also important in screening for age-related diseases and tailoring the use of medicines,
According to Bloomberg Businessweek:
Testing for a genetic pattern found in centenarians may predict with 77 percent accuracy which people are among the 3 in 1,000 Americans with the DNA to live past age 100, a study found.
It’s not 99.9% accurate because the study was performed on Caucasian. The accuracy can be improved by performing similar study on other races from different countries.
