Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s Parentage Discovered via DNA Testing

Dr. Zahi Hawas – Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities said this about DNA testing on mummies, “I used to be against the DNA tests for mummies, because it was done by foreigners, and the mix of DNA of the dead and the alive could lead to inaccurate results.”

He found a new way of identify mummies – Performing DNA testing on mummies in several labs (not focused on one lab) in order to obtain accurate parentage results.
