Notre Dame Football Hero’s Body Exhumed For DNA Testing

George Gipp

George Gipp – a famous college football hero who played for University of Notre Dame who passed away in 1920, had his body exhumed for DNA paternity testing.

It’s quite fascinating to see that this football hero who had passed away for more than 80 years ago, that his DNA is taken from the exhumed body with his femur removed for DNA testing.

Finally, DNA test concluded that Mr. Gipp didn’t father a child.
